Light

Essential oils

Science proves also that Essential oils hold properties that naturally help your mind and body to relax. Ylang ylang, geranium, camomile and lavender essential oils have relaxing and soothing qualities.

Drink

Herbal tea is the obvious choice, but some prefer a fizzy drink, a glass of champagne. Choose what feels right to relax your mind.

Music

Bath

Bathing is proven to reduce the stress hormone, cortisone and to stimulate the release of endorphins and also to reduce blood pressure. Add some bath salts, preferably sea salts which are rich in minerals such as magnesium to nourish your skin.

Prior to entering the bath, you could use a bamboo bath brush with your favourite body gel to exfoliate the skin and boost the blood flow. During the bath, a gentle massage motion can stimulate lymphatic drainage which will help reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Bath oils and a body scrub are also recommended.

Facial Treatment

A cleanser then facial mask rich in hydrating extracts will help to purify and bring a healthy radiance back to your skin. A jade roller from your chin to your cheekbones is a nice lymphatic massage and will definitely ease away any tension.

Hydration

All good spa sessions finish with a warm towel with nice slippers. Applying body lotion helps to rehydrate the skin at the end of the treatment. You can then lie down on your bed with a nice lavender eye pillow mask.
